4th - 7th Grade

Students in upper-grade school classes advance their Jewish learning abuild positive relationships and make responsible decisions. Through the values, students explore Jewish text, history, tefillah, and holidays. A primary focus is on individual strengths and promoting a peaceful world.

Gesher and Hallah High (8th - 10th Grade)
Following their B'nai Mitzvah, students spend their first year in Gesher (bridge). They then move to Hallah High (9th and 10th grade). The curriculum is focused on Jewish Values and becoming a Jewish adult. The groups join together for tzedakah projects and learning, meeting once a week on Sundays.

After Hallah High

Our 11th and 12th graders can apply to be LJCS madrichim (classroom assistants). We love to watch our older teens develop as leaders and role models for our younger students.

Beyond LJCS

Following their involvement with LJCS, many students join Hillel on their college campus. For more information about Hillel at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln visit their website. We are proud to have many Hillel students as teachers at LJCS.
